EMDR Services

 EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is a scientifically backed treatment modality that allows you more immediate relief from your symptoms compared to other therapy modalities. It is utilized to help with the relief of distressing symptoms traditionally association with trauma. Studies show that by using EMDR treatment time can be significantly reduced.

What To Expect

You may be a good candidate for the standard EMDR protocol if you are looking to dig deeper for faster treatment results, you've tried other therapies and are looking for something more, and are feeling stuck.
  • Initial assessment

  • EMDR readiness assessment

  • Treatment planning

  • 53-55 min processing and re-evaluation sessions

These sessions are covered by your insurance plan or you pay choose to pay out-of-pocket. Our fees are below:

  • Assessment session - $200-$250

  • Follow up sessions - $175-$200


EMDR Intensives

What To Expect

Kristi J Karel, LMSW, CAADC offers EMDR intensives. You may be a good candidate for EMDR Intensives if you are already working or have been working with a therapist, you are looking for more intensive work, and you are highly motivated to work on targeted issues. Please note that not everyone is a good fit for intensive work.
  • 45-60 min treatment consultation - $250

  • 90 min initial assessment and treatment planning

  • 90 min - 120 min processing sessions - $300-$350

EMDR Intensives are not covered by insurance. A deposit of $200 is required to hold your spot. Treatment bundles are tailored to your specific needs and your therapist will discuss cost of treatment during your initial consultation.
